Positive News Youth Views (PNYV) is a youth oriented online magazine whose goal is to connect young people with each other and with news networks and institutions that are committed to creating sustainable societies. PNYV hopes to strengthen the world sustainability movement and make its resources available to the public.

The non-profit Positive Nett-works Association based in Berlin, Germany hosts PNYV. The magazine relies on volunteers and is not funded by any specific partner. Eric Schneider, the project founder says "My favorite thing about PNYV is the Positive News (display) boards, which, over time, nurture the consciousness for sound participation in creating sustainable, functional society. The keystones are living role models, global community-feeling, hope, vision, confidence, model projects, creative thinking, 24/7 access to authentic data on the state of the planet and good contacts." A new print edition is put out every two weeks, and is available for download on the website. Anyone is able to access the magazine and play an important role in introducing a new spirit of meaningful change in his or her community. Youth are able to become online volunteers of the global editing team and install a positive news board in their schools and communities. Groups are also invited to start their own Regional PNYV Edition using free online editing technology. Readers are encouraged to send in news articles and links, or personal positive solutions and achievements. All of the options for participation are designed to be as simple and effective as possible. PNYV has begun the creation of multilingual editions all over the world. Already volunteers from nine countries and five continents have registered to connect. It is successful in counteracting the stereotypical youth attitude of "who cares?" by igniting the spirit of change.
