The International Children's Painting Competition on the Environment is organized by the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP), the Japan-based Foundation for Global Peace and Environment (FGPE), and the Bayer Group. It has been held annually since 1990 and has received more than 160,000 entries from children in over 100 Countries.
The paintings shown here are some of the prize-winners from the 2005 competition for which the theme was theme was "Green Cities".
