Positive News Adopts Sustainability Policy for Responsible Reporting |
We at Positive News believe in running the paper in a way that minimizes our impact on Earth's limited resources. With this in mind, we are proud to introduce our recently approved sustainability policy, which outlines our commitment to practices and procedures that are in line with the inspiring sustainability articles we publish in every issue. We have recognized that we are growing, and we want to demonstrate a new model for ethical operations and intelligently organize ourselves to reduce consumption by improving efficiency and encouraging our team to adopt habits that lessen our collective footprint.
We will spend the year researching so that we can estimate our environmental impact, from reporting to printing. We hope to provide information by the end of 2007. In addition, we have adopted some particular measures such as a commitment to always use 100% post-consumer recycled paper for all our paper needs and to work to eliminate air travel for Positive News, both domestically and abroad. The entire Positive News team is committed to more sustainable practices. We would appreciate your feedback on our policy, which you can find on our website home page, www.positivenewsus.org.
